What is the return policy?
I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations
- Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
- Dispatch items back within: 30 days of delivery
- Request a cancellation within: 1 hour of purchase
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
- Custom or personalised orders
- Perishable products (like food or flowers)
- Digital downloads
- Gift Cards
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Conditions of returnBuyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

What are your delivery costs and shipping policy?
Shipping Rates:
- 2nd Class Royal Mail Postage
- Postage £2.50 on orders under £25
- Free postage over £25
- 1st Class Royal Mail - £4 on all orders
All orders to be delivered within the United Kingdom are processed between 1 and 3 business days. Orders are shipped using Royal Mail with either the standard (2nd Class Mail) or Express (1st class Mail) as selected at the checkout.
Please leave at least 14 days from the date of dispatch to report a late or lost delivery. If you have received a card from the Royal Mail and did not collect the item from your sorting office in time we will resend at your cost once it has been sent back to us.
During busy periods such as Christmas please leave at least three weeks for deliveries due to the increased demand on the Royal Mail.
Uphouse Crafts is not responsible for items arriving late.
Any lost item will be refunded/replaced after 14 days from the dispatch date when you get in touch with us.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are made by hand in Shetland using textiles we have sourced from other small businesses in the UK.
All our greeting cards are made with our own artwork and printed, cut and folded in-house using high-quality card sourced from UK suppliers.
Can your items be washed?
All care instructions are included with the handmade, sewn and knitted items. Most items can be washed by hand or gentle machine wash, but it is recommended for all Shetland Wool Fair Isle items to spot clean with lukewarm water and mild soap.
