Sewing Night Class in Shetland - Christmas Stocking 24th September - 1st October

Sewing Night classes with Uphouse Crafts @ West Mainland Leisure Centre

Would you like to do a sewing night class?  This class is suitable for beginners.  You will be taken through each step in the process of making a quilted Christmas stocking.

Create your own Quilted Christmas Stocking

In this class, you’ll learn to sew, quilt, and assemble your Christmas Stocking.

You will be able to choose from Christmas fabrics, or old denim Jeans.  For the cuff of the stocking you will have the option of a white satin like cotton or a few other options.

You will be taken through each step of the process.  You may have homework to complete on week 1 to make sure we complete the stocking the next week.

The full kit of fabric and wadding is included in your class fee.

You will need to take the following fabrics/items:

• Your sewing machine - standard zigzag foot
• The class will start each night at 6.15pm, so please arrive 5 minutes early to set up.
